At the age of four I was taught embroidery and then went on to learn crochet, knitting etc. At age eight I was taught how to design and construct garments. At age eleven I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer.  I would sit in the back of the classroom making sketches of different dresses. But, as they say, “If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.”

So, I moved on to more mundane pursuits like interior designing and then writing – for newspapers, magazines, TV series and later graduated to producing documentaries and cable shows etc.

Recently I designed Posters, Tee Shirts, Greeting Cards, Stationery, Coffee Mugs etc. to raise funds for a non profit. After spending hundreds of hours working on the project I decided it was finally time for me to do what I had always dreamed of as a child. And Born Free Arts was launched!

Dabbling in Stand Up Comedy taught me to express my ideas in a concise fashion. So I decided to combine a few snappy lines with some whimsical artwork and came up with a few designs that would make people smile.

Writing funny lines was the easy part. Creating the images to match the quotes was a little more difficult. Hope you enjoy having them as much as I enjoyed creating them! So what do you think of my creations?  Let me know.
